Numeracy

At St Augustine's we do lots of different things in the classroom to expose students to maths concepts, skills and thinking. We are constantly adapting and changing our curriculum to target the needs of our students. We play games, access apps, interact with internet sites whether our students need more practice or need extending once they have achieved mastery.

We aim to provide students with access to important mathematical ideas, knowledge and skills that they will draw on in their personal and work lives. The curriculum also provides students, as life-long learners, with the expectation that all students can learn to high standards.
